The First Section Three Disqualification

Today a court in New Mexico ruled that Couy Griffin, a County Commissioner in Otero County, violated Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment on January 6th, 2021 and must therefore be removed from office. If this result stands up on appeal, Griffin will be a significant precedent for the next election cycle. Needless to say, this is not good news for Donald Trump's provisional 2024 presidential campaign. The January 6th Committee and the DOJ should sit up and take notice.
