We've switched the blog over to New Blogger overnight. Please bear with us as we try to deal with all the bugs that will inevitably ensue. If people have experiences (good or bad) with New Blogger, feel free to discuss them (and offer advice) in the comments section.
A special note to the members of our Balkinization community-- the folks who regularly write all the comments to the various postings: The New Blogger software may require you to get your own Google accounts (if you have not already done so).
Well, immediately I am pleased that the author's name now shows up in RSS feeds. This was a significant gripe I had with the old setup. My RSS reader displays the full body of the post, but I would have to click through to the website to see the author.
My blogger account appears to be working on the new blog. I do not have a google ID.
for those of us who are technologically challenged, do i need to go somewhere else to read and comment, or do i continue simply to read balkinization and marvel that my comments appear, and still make almost no sense at all?
Testing the new set-up. Looks like the migration also fixes the atom bug that prevented this and other blogs from rendering properly in raggle. I've also figured out how to subscribe to the comments feed. Sweet.
I was wondering why it took so long. You shouldn't have too man bugs. Personally I like the new Blogger — I migrated my blog from old to new months ago.
Balkinization is definitely one of the best blogs out there, and in my top five on my RSS reader.
Thanks to all those who post on your blog — including you — Mr. Balkin.
