Comments:

i personally prefer the p.d.q. bach pervertimento in "g" (for strings)...

Bravo, Maestro Balkin. Some additions:
You can't be without the Masonic Funeral Music, KV 477, one of the most impressive uses of wind instruments ever written. Bruno Walter did a terrific recording (CBS), and while we're at it, the Gran Partita. You've got the Haffner, but isn't Karl Boehm's DG recording the one to have?
Also, you offer two takes on the violin sonatas, but not the Isaac Stern recordings on Sony? I'm surprised. Reconsider, please. What a great undertaking. This made by weekend (and inspired me to spend it with Mozart).

An exceptional woman with all the desired qualities exists only in a man's imagination.
