The Cubs and the Supreme Court
For those who think my blog posting about the Cubs has nothing to do with the Supreme Court issues frequently discussed here, see today's Scotus Blog post, at this link.
And, some believe the Indians mascot etc. is offensive and the Supreme Court is this term trying a case regarding offensive trademarks (Redskins case still pending, not taken ahead of time).
Perhaps Justice Stevens in the stands at age 12 was not as objective as he was on the Court. Arm pointing and follow up a mere coincidence? I confess I'm a Yankee fan, but I wasn't born until 1930. I'm rooting for the Cubs as a shot at the Red Sox as Theo is a townie and my kids were in grade school with him and his twin bro.
