Mazel Tov, Brian Tamahana and Mary Dudziak

Congratulations to Balkinization blogger Brian Tamanaha and Mary Dudziak of the Legal History Blog for receiving fellows from the Institute for Advanced Studies at Princeton, New Jersey. Professor Tamanaha, as readers of this blog well know, has been developing a sharp critique of the increasingly overly "realistic" interpretation of judicial behavior that has become faddish in some legal and political science circles. Professor Dudziak is working on fascinating projects on the influence of war on American constitutionalism and connections (though Thurgood Marshall) between American and African constitutional regimes. These fellowships will no doubt result in more terrific scholarship from these terrific scholars.
